BFMEII is a wonderful game I'd recommend to just about anyone.

My friends had been recommending me to buy this game for a long time, so I picked it up. Next thing I know, I'm in my room for hours playing this game. I love it. I'm picking up the expansion soon (I've heard it's pretty generic but I can get it for 10 bucks new, so whatever).

There is a lot of content in this game. Tons of map, 6 diverse civilizations, the create-a-hero, and much more. The civilizations are a lot of fun, I play as a different one every time. They are all quite different and you never feel like you're playing the same civilization with a different skin.

Maps are also great. Very diverse selection. You have the siege maps, the open maps, etc.. I haven't even played them all yet. There is a lot of room for tactics on these maps.

The create a hero feature is fun. I've made a bunch of heroes. If you do it right, a well-made hero can really make a difference in a match. Let's just say it's an interesting mechanic.

I haven't gotten to play the game online because I got it used and it was already registered (dang you EA!!!!!). So unfortunately I can't tell you anything.

The comp players suck. Just.... meh. They try and attack the same target, if you are attacking them or chasing them they will just keep going to their destination, and so on and so forth. Easy to Medium is a massive spike in difficulty (at least with the patch) and took me a while to adjust (Easy doesn't attack at all, medium almost never stops attacking). I still have lots of fun playing against them, it's just the game is more designed to be played against humans. Which is why I'd recommend buying it new. It's just as expensive in most cases, and EA really sucks, so if you buy it used you usually won't be able to register it to play it online.

A flaw I've found it the pathfinding fails at times. I'll order 3 battalions of swordsmen to attack a building, and only the one closest to the building will attack it, the rest pile on behind that battalion that is attacking rather than surrounding it. It's annoying, but not really a major problem.

So in all, I'd recommend picking this game up, (remember to get it new if you want to play online!)it's a great game that will give you many hours of enjoyment.
