Game started with promise. It was easy to overlook the poor transfer to the PS3. Battling giant bugs and then jumping into mechs seemed like an awesome combo. Some hints of Dead Space and other action adventures, but that faded when the story kicked in. But then story line was weak and kind of weird. It reminded me way to much of Zone of The Enders the second runner. Though ZOE was a much much better gaming experience. If you had to chose, I say get ZOE on the PS2 and leave this one be. By the time you get to the last boss you'll see what I mean. Taking out the last boss, I was'nt sure if I had finished the game or not until the cutscene started. Weak payoff for the effort. That is my biggest gripe with this game. If they would have given a little more oomph to the end of the game, getting there would have seemed all the more worth while. Know what I mean? You put in the hours, play it through and when you reach the end? Nada. Kind of a let down. Played it on Hard mode.
