Too much copying of Dead Space. The monster design and main armor's shoulder armor is too Dead Space esque.
@FullMonty1394 no disrespect but lost planet came before dead space. If anything dead space copied this series, shooting red area's of the body in LP like legs to incapacitate an animal. I can see what your referring to though, have you played the 1st 2 ?? this is very similar to DS3 but radically different from the previous LP's. Some criticized LP, maybe the second could have been better, but the 1st was a real surprise, and quite a challenge at times. i really enjoyed it, plus it looks great still, really atmospheric.
@FullMonty1394 I haven't played either game, but didn't Lost Planet come out before Dead Space?
I do hope the Lost Planet series scores a home run this time. It really has a lot of potential and the developers surely have the spirit and dedication to make really visionary-type games.
There's something about the character design that just don't feel Capcom-like. I love Lost Planet 1, and I'm starting to think that it will never get a true worthwhile sequel. If only Inafune San was getting busy...
@drangel_jam You're actually correct because Capcom isn't developing this game, Spark Ulimited is ha ha. I just looked it up.

@313714 I know hey, teasing us with a great trailer yet, at the end of it, they tell us its only coming out next year. But think about it, i'll rather have a game that they take time and effort to make it a work of art, that just to simply rush and make a mess us...also we have been waiting for it for a while, so it wouldn't hurt to wait a while longer...IMO
2 Like It's like Dead Space 3 and Lost Planet 3 switched places. LP3 looks a lot more fun and scarier than DS3.

@Cataclysmm But when you play it, you will hate it. Trust me, EA killed the Red Alert franchise, Dragon Age franchise, Mass Effect franchise, Star Wars franchise, and some more my friend.

What happened to the anime style lost planet, I think it was for 3ds, is that considered just a spinoff and this a legit sequel.

Loved the first one, two was bad and boring. It would seem they are making this one primarily for an American audience rather than dubbing what were clearly JP games previously.
Hopefully they went with an NA graphics engine as well.
I watch this and all I can think about is Red Faction: Armageddon. I hope this will be a good game, but they seem very similar.
This seems much more story driven than that of LP2, I really liked LP1 and 2, so no doubt I'll enjoy this. I'm curious as to how this turns out because of the apparent differences from the first 2. No Coop for this game? kind of disappointing.
1 Like Trailers are so misleading. They make every game look cool. Yes, that looks sweet, but I probably said the same thing about Lost Planet 2. Boy what a disappointment that was.
