Next gen best old-school RPG

User Rating: 8 | Lost Odyssey X360
Many are the people making discussions about this game, and the fact that it's what the new Final Fantasy should be like. Anyone can see the resemblance, but no, Lost Odyssey is a whole different masterpiece.
Great story makes you want to play all way straight to the end, because you want to know badly what will happen. Stunning graphics and fully developed characters (thanks to Takehiko Inoue) are the main reasons why you're going to become a part of the game, of why you're going to feel sad so many times. Incredible music from the already appreciated Nobuo Uematsu makes the true, sensitive soul of the game come out. Last but not least, beautiful stories of an immortal wanderer doomed to see good people leaving his world in front of his eyes, will create a link between you and Kaim, a special one that I've never seen in any other game.
Critics said the game was derivative. My question is, how can a turn-based RPG not be derivative? After ten FF and hundreds of other, very little can be changed in the formula. Lost Odyssey tried to do that by adding the immortals, different in many ways from the others, and other minor things. As far as I am concerned, they succeeded in being different from the others.
Main idea is: the game is deeply emotional, not for anyone that wants a flashy shooting-like very fast RPG with good looking women as main characters. But if you have a brain and a heart, and want to use them both to play, this is the greatest game to do that.

P.S. Sorry fon any language mistake, I'm not american
P.S.2 The main enemy, Gongora, is a tough bad-ass, not like the wussies you see around these days...
