Not being able to die but not knowing who you realy are and why you are the way you are....

User Rating: 8.5 | Lost Odyssey X360
Lost Odyssey A JRPG that sort of plys like any other JRPG but then to me that is not a bad thing at all as i enjoy them alot. At the very start of the game you are thrown into the deep end as you Kaim Argonar are in a battle that does not end well for the people around you at all as the battlefeild is hit by a huge meteor that wipes out everyone in the area and leaves Kaim the only man standing.....

Not being able to die but not know who he realy is Kaim is an immortal.....On his journey through this game he meets up with other immortals who have also lost there memorys just like he is and they try to find out what happened to them in the past....

There is a huge cast of players to this game and they are:

Kaim Argonar:

Kaim is the game's leading man and a Lieutenant in the Uhran army, who, like all of the immortals, has lived for a millenium.

Seth Balmore:

Seth is a fellow immortal and former pirate and explorer who has also joined the army.

Sed:

Sed, the mortal son of Seth, is also a pirate, and despite having aged physically beyond his mother, he still lovingly refers to her as "Momma".

Ming Numara:

Ming is also known as The Thousand-Year Queen for the length of her reign, is the founder - and reigning queen - of the Free Ocean State of Numara and strives to govern the country with benevolence using her "vast strength and resolve."

Sarah Sisulart:

Sarah Sisulart, Kaim's immortal wife, is a quiet person, renowned for her sorcery.

Jansen Friedh:

The mortal Jansen Friedh, a womanizer and black mage prone to drinking, is hired by Gongora to spy on Kaim and Seth during their initial mission to investigate Grand Staff.

Cooke & Mack:

They are the grandchildren of Kaim and Sarah. Cooke, is a tomboyish white mage with a love for adventure. Mack is a meek, yet tough child who is often overshadowed by his sister.

Tolten:

Tolten, the son of Uhra's former king Zypha, was persuaded to dissolve the republic and retake the throne as part of Gongora's machinations, but is then declared dead, allowing Gongora to usurp his position.

Gongora:

The primary antagonist in the story, the immortal Gongora gave the other immortals amnesia thirty years prior and assumed the position of Uhra's magic advisor in order to head Uhra's Grand Staff project.

Kakanas:

Kakanas, a general in the Numaran Army, functions as a minor antagonist.

Lost Odyssey plays out like any normal JRPG but has a few twists here and there...the immortals leran there skills by being paired up with a mortal and over time they will gain new skills as picked by the player. There is also the ring system which helps the player in combat it they can get the timing right.

Lost Odyssey came out on the 360 in Japan december 6 2007 in
Australia February 8 2008 in North america February 12 2008 and in Europe February 29 2008.

Yes Lost Odyssey my use 4 DVDs for its game but that never hurt the FF games in the past and it does not realy hurt Lost Odyssey at all. So if your in the mood for a JRPG before FF13 comes out then this one may well be the one for you.
