This is a great game to play
Gameplay: This game follows the chacter named Bobbing threadbear which is part of the musical, Magical, weavers clan. When He goes to the main tent of his village he witnesses all the people he knows turn in to swarns and one of them who had turned in to an egg but hatches out as a little swan baby and tells Bobbin about what he has to do and all. So he finds the magical staff and then he gose on to learning magical casting spells useing notes which useing the musical scales to produce the spell. This game is similer to games like Monkey Island meaning it is a point and click game which is not bad. Anyways you go around to diffrent places were you go looking for the father and the other people you know and to join them and you help people along the way in order to progress in the game. As you do you learn more more notes on your staff in order to cast more powerful casting spells.
Graphics: The Graphics in the game are very smooth concidering it came out in 1990. To be honest it's alot more polished then it's counter part The Secret of Monkey Island. The magical effects are very nice to watch.
Sound: The sound effects and the voice acting is very well done one of the best of it's day and it's still very good today. Value: This game is pretty good gameplay though it's a little short. Once you know what to do you can just fly though it in about a day. But it's great to play again once in a while.
All in all this is a great classic game that should be in any gamer's game collection but to bad a new generation of kids don't have the good quaility gameplay like they did back in the day. I'm not saying that there are not any good game today in the 21st century there are good games, it's just that so many of them just have graphic eye candy and don't focus on the gameplay as much anymore which is usually more important to the game then the graphics which only helps the game in someways.
I give this game 9.5 out of 10.
