Escape From Mount Stupid: Zombie Games (Xbox 360)

Hey, with the movie on the way...I think we all can expect a World War Z game as well!! I really like Zombies....got tons of genious crap movies from all over the world and ranging from 70's to 00's So it was kinda funny to see how many Zombie games were made in the last 3 or 4 years...lot's of crap and a few really good ones. Sadly it is all about to go south with the producers of the Twilight movies releasing a Zombie movie...from that point on I think I will be shamed to say I like Zombie movies. Really sad...

Very nice, but Danny you forgot Wax Works (amiga platform), a truly horrifying game at its time. perhabs you remember the cemetery level and that mine. being lost in that cemetery was absolutely terrifying. why not making a Mount Stupid episode about the history of non-shooting 1st person games?

I have yet to buy a zombie game but I have been following it and Lollipop Chainsaw will probably change that.

Yeah the industry is kinda overflowing with zombies titles however some of them are real gems. Its better to just stay away from the other ones.

left 4 dead 1&2 and killing floor are the best zombie games out there, dead island is ok but its not the best

lol nice one... im not really into zombie games but resident evil 1-4 are classics i loved and the red dead redemption dlc was funny as hell... but you forgot one "major" zombie game, one i peed my pants laughing: stubbs the zombie... :) i played the campaign through in one night playing coop with a friend on his xbox! and one of the few games where you can actually play a zombie and turn people :D

I like House of the Dead and and Resident Evil. I will get lollipop chainsaw though.

It would have been nice to see Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines mentioned after the vampire part. At least then we'd have more people exposed to what is one of the best vampire games to come out in the past.

seriously? lolipop chainsaw? it's like bayonetta met zombie game. XD also, why didn't they mention Stubbs the Zombie? that game was stupid but was still funny, and did a unique playstyle where your'e the zombie instead of the zombie killer.

Zombies are awesome. the problems is the context and the increase of rip-offs with "features" that ruin the whole concept of zombies... i still hope on the potential that comes with the zombie survival horror. Ps: i got the feeling that Danny likes sparkling vampires over zombies...

Zombies at my parents or what ever it's called was great game seriously. I think resident evil movies have olt going for them just poor direction and story, style theme is perfect but that's about it.

There is also a Yakuza game with Zombie if I'm not mistaken.

@metaltorn I kind of agree with you.. the L4D was fine to me,, it actually was a descent game for what it was, but when Call of duty started adding in zombies into there game I thought it was a bit stupid and overdone to say the least. I'm a huge zombie fan, but I for one do not want to ever see zombies in my Battlefield games...

@BENZINO4677 Oh please give me a break, the whole point of horror games is that they are scary. It's the same with movies, if horror movies were not scary then no one would watch them. You can have your anime themed resident evil 4 for 11 year olds that game wasnt even scary. I still think the first resident evil was the best.. Hell they made movies based off the first resident evil, and the second resident evil. Not the anime themed crap that came after it. If you wanna talk about real zombie movies or games then you should know something about return of the living dead, and all those 80's horror movies back in the day. Those movies are all what these zombie themed games are inspired from. Not all this new Japanese anime theme crap all you kids have gotten so accustomed too
