- The Bottom Line:
- "Guilty pleasure"
When I first saw advertisements for this game I was thinking to my self, "Why would playstation want to spend so much money advertising a dumb game." It didn't make sense to me nor did I think I'd ever play the game. But last year for my birthday my girlfriend bought me Little Big Planet because she thought the dolls were "cute" and she wanted to play it with me. So being nice I decided to play the "cute doll" game with her and I loved it. It has a very simple objective collect items, finish the levels and individualize yourself! It seemed so odd playing with emotional dolls in a fantasy land, but it was extremely fun and addicting. The graphics are intentionally poor, which in my opinion makes it better, and its allows all good and bad gamers to have fun with its easy controls, but occasionally challenging objectives. (collecting all the hidden items or no deaths) The best part about the whole game is the online mode, it is like a Little Big Planet universe. Anyone is able to create their own course with whatever objective they want. You are also able to go to user created courses with friends or random players and have fun doing what ever the course requires whether it be a car race or nuclear bomb survival or just the simple story mode created by the designers. Even though the game doesn't appeal to gamers similar to me I strongly encourage everyone to at least try it because I believe you will all find it a guilty pleasure like me.

I lost my patience with the LittleBigPlanet 2 servers which keep crapping out, and the people who keep refusing game invites, so I took matters into my own hands, and feet, to collect the prize bubbles I've been after.Posted Jan 28, 2011
