Not perfect, but a very fun and exciting game with great characters and soundtrack, but weak controls...

This game is nothing like you have ever played before, well maybe that's an exaggeration, because the game combines the best aspects of other games into an almost unrecognizable blend of awesomeness. You play as a little sackboy, and the customization options for your character are endless, especially with the new costume packs being released over the PSN. Your character's looks can range from plain old brown sackboy, to sombero wearing Mexican sackboy, to Afro wearing hipster sackboy. You will soon learn in this game that for just about anything the possibilities are near endless, and in the beginning, especially with level design, this can be quite daunting. The platforming gameplay is not radically different from what you have played before, but it works well with beautiful level design. And if you feel up to the task, you can design your own levels, but this is a very hard and intricate thing to do, especially with the controller (I think it would be easier with a mouse).

Graphics: 9.5 The graphics were just short of amazing, and helped give the game a great and wondrous feel.

Gameplay: 8.0 The core gameplay was very good but was weakened by the unreliable controls.

Story: 8.0 The story doesn't really make a whole lot of sense but the story levels themselves are great.

Replayability: 9.0 The game is very replayable as there are tons and tons of player created level s playable through the PSN.

Overall (Not an average of above scores): 9.0 This game does have some flaws, but it is a brilliant and innovative offering by Media Molecule that you should try.
