So your at the store thinking, "Are there any good baseball games for my DS"?. Well, yes there is! Little League World Series 2009 is a great, easy to learn baseball game. You turn on the game, and it tells you they recommend doing the tutorial. The controls are pretty easy. To hit, the ball comes and a target follows it, and all you have to do is draw a line pointing where you want the ball to go, (starting where the ball is), and it will go there. For pitching, you pick a pitch, (fastball, curve ball, slider, or change up), and trace a line, like for the fastball, its a straight line. The fielding controls are somewhat harder. You can't really run for the ball, the computer does that for you, but once you do get the ball, throwing is as easy as anything. Just draw a line in the direction of the base, (right is 1st, up is 2nd, left is 3rd, down is 4th). Base running is challenging at times, because of how slow the runners move. To make the runners advance, you tap them, to move them back, tap them again. Now, to tourney mode. You first have to create a team and place them in a region. Then you can edit your players, (names, looks, star player). Finally you start your regional tournament, which is round robin format. Once you play everyone, (if you are one of the top 2 teams), you'll play for the championship. Now this ensures a challenge, because every game, the opponent gets a little harder. From there, you go to the World Series and so-on. The game also has some fun minigames, trphys and cards to collect, and Exhibition modes.
