This game is hands down the reason to own a Wii. I honestly did not think I was going to like it and I don't I LOVE IT!!

This game is just plain fun. I never thought I would have so much fun playing a strategy game as I have with this game. It is beautiful and challenging, lengthy and takes the concepts behind Sim-city building and pikmin and melds them into a cohesive working package. This game is just the best game on the Wii to date. I am still rather confused as to why it is not getting as much attention as it deserves but as we have seen before I toss that to a poor marketing department. As I was saying the game is a very pretty game, the landscapes the characters everything has an astounding amount of detail and artistic feel. The game is also legthy I have been playing for about 12 hours and barely capture 1 of the 7 surrounding kindoms so you can only imagine how much longer I will hav to complete the game. I also think the story is quite good and rather humorous at points. Still this game has 2 small flaws not huge flaws but enough to prevent a perfect score. One problem is the weird texture when watching a cut scene it looks as though there is hay falling in front of your tv as it is playing, rather annoying actually. Second the formations don't really help the game, at times your men will fall and you will need to double back to regroup and even if you certain your men can make it on a stair path they still get stuck walking as they are walking behind you. Mind you these are small flaws but you will see they can get to be bothersome about 6 hours in.

Overall: I would recommend this game to anyone that loved Pikmin or Dawn of Discovery, or even a game like Swords and Soldiers as it is strategic in gameplay. Although it has some flaws they do not greatly hinder the fun and worth the 50.00 experience you will get. Aside from that this game will last you a good while well over 40 hours and you will love every treasure hunting moment.
