A great adventure game with highly detailed graphics.
Twinsen's wife Zoè gets kidnapped by Dr. Funfrock who is ruler of the southern hemisphere of planet Twinsun. You get locked up in jail and that is where the game actually starts.
While moving you can select 4 modes: Agressive, Athletic, Discreet or Normal.
In Normal mode you can talk to other creatures, search objects, push buttons etc.
In Aggressive mode you can fight your opponents, first just with your bare hands and by kicking, later on you'll will find your magic ball which you can throw at your enemies. In this mode you'll move slowly.
In Athletic mode you can run and jump, but also attack, your moves are quicker. When you finally obtain the Sabre, you can use it in combination with forward- and back-flipping.
In Discreet mode you can sneak up to an enemy, try to pass them without being seen or hide yourself.
You can use your magic ball also to push buttons in unreachable places. It's range will grow further on the game. All characters are made of 3D-polygons, they're very colourful and move smoothly. The sounds are really funny, they add a lot to the game. I've found the Discreet mode sound was very nice. (A base string).
The voice-acting appeared to have many glitches, so turning on the subtitles is a wise thing to do.
This great game has a an also great sequel: LBA2 or Twinsen's Odyssey.
