Lit is a puzzle game where the goal is to get to the exit, but like all puzzle games, it isn't as simple as it sounds. But first, let me tell you the facts!

Fact 1: No Introduction

A problem with this game is it basically gives you a character, and shoves you in with no back story or tutorial. It's not a huge problem, as the first few levels are basically simple enough to give you a good idea what you have to do, while you can also read the manual if you have any problems.

Fact 2: Gameplay

The game always starts you out in a very dark room, with an exit on the other side, but if you touch the darkness, your dead, and have to start the level over. So what you have to do is make a path of light that'll get you to the exit. To do that, you need to break windows, turn on lamps, tvs, computers, and oscillating lights. Each of these items has a specific use. Windows make a straight line of light of you to go through, while lamps make a circle of light in a small radius. The tv requires you to find the remote, and you use the remote to turn it on, while the computer is systematic, I.E. you turn one on, you turn them all on. The oscillating light acts like a fan, as it moves around when it is on. However, you have to watch out for the fuse, because if too many lights are on, the power shorts, and you have to reset the level, which can be a bit frustrating. You also have a flashlight, which you use to plan ahead, though you can't use it to get to the exit (something that seems implausible.) The flashlight has a limited battery, but you can recharge it by shaking the Wiimote.

Fact 3: Boss Battles

Yes, there are boss battles in this game, though they are basically another form of puzzles. You face off against people like an English teacher, or the janitor, each with a specific way to beat them.

Fact 4: Phone Calls

Some levels have a phone that rings for a bit. If you make it to the phone, you get a call from your girlfriend Rachael, who your character is trying to rescue. Besides giving the game a little back story, you also get a different ending if you answer all the calls. However, miss one, and it's the bad ending for you.

Fact 5: Conclusion

The game is fun, there is no doubt about that, however it is very short, though after you beat the game, you get dark mode, which is basically the same rooms, except your character is a shadow of his former self, and you have to go through the levels as fast as you possibly can, or else you run out of light, and die. All in all, if you are a fan of puzzle games, this is for you.
