Prepare to be perplexed by the horrors of an, "artistic experience."

So I was on Playsation Store today and I saw this game called, Linger in Shadows. It was in the "staff picks" section and looked somewhat interesting. I was quite mislead. See, this game is no game at all. It is more of an interactive movie. Ah, sounds fun! Not quite. The game....movie, basically focuses around a short six minute clip that takes serious consideration and time to figure out. During this movie you can pause, fast-forward, and rewind at anytime. When you do pause the game you can control the camera with the SIXAXIS sensor inside the control. And it's not as simple as it sounds. This means that prepare yourself for a good hour or so of waving your controller around like a Wii, until you understand which movement controls where the camera goes. After that, you still wont have it down pat. There is certain parts where the movie rewinds you until you fulfill certain criteria in the form of shaking your controller for a long time, or going back to look for a certain object or point in time. And there are also secret signs,"greeting", from different people who helped this game, that are hidden to a point where you wont find them without help.

Ultimately, this game provides nothing. A short six minute movie in which you can pause the game and jiggle around the camera and move certain objects. There is no in-depth way too look at it, there is no back story of creativity. The graphics are PS2, the gameplay isn't even gameplay, and the level of enjoyment is at an all time low unless you can find the most dull things interesting and complex. Don't put a game that isn't suppose to be a game, on a gaming system.
