Do you consider Lightning to be tough or just a tryhard?

Her weakness is evident in FF13-2. In FF13 she was this tomboy with a faux-tough 'tude. Her attitude didn't come off as tough though, it just came off as rude, uncouth and uncultured.

The punching and yelling at people Claire isn't the real Claire. She was just acting tough for fans like you to clap at. The Claire that I saw at the end of XIII, the Claire that opened up to Hope and the others, the Claire that was able to admit her own faults with her how the situation was handled when Serah became a L'cie, now that to me is the real her.

I've said before and I'll say it again, THERE IS NO CHARACTER IN THE SERIES I HATE (unless they're from FFX or X-2) in Lightning's case I don't like her in anyway but I'm not a blind hater either. I give credit where credit is due. She did have character development like it or not, even if I thought it could have been more believable, I still respect that.
Plus I had a few drinks tonight :^p

I understand that it isn't exactly a staple to a healthy long life but it's not like I guzzle down gallons a night >_< But I will say that if you do make the decision to drink, do so responsibly. Be aware of how it will affect you and others who will see you during said moments. And biggest of all know your limits! Truthfully I've been trying to sober up some. It's not something that you can accomplish over night I'm afraid. I come from a family where it is common to be a drinker.
I don't however want my kids to ever drink.

I know, that's why I said she's a tryhard. I like that about her because it shows her frustration, and it shows how she really isn't that the responsibility of taking care of Serah along with trying to figure the whole l'Cie thing out is something she almost accepts she can't handle, and thus, she covers it up with that tryhard-ness.
