Thus far, 3 intense and fulfilling episodes PACKED with alternate ways to change everyone and everything around you. I'll admit, I was a little sketchy about how this one would pan out. But not only has it proved me wrong, it has completely blown me away and I have literally found myself playing its alternate and different endings with different results for hours and hours upon one sitting. Ep 3: Chaos Theory was just released and already I cannot wait to delve back into the dark, beautiful and fascinating world of Arcadia Bay!! You play the average, shy, yet witty protagonist photographer Max, who in no way is your average everyday main lead player. Max is completely likable n relatable in all kinds of ways, and as you progress thru the game she will grow on u even more. But anyways, Max is just an average 18 yr old girl who is aspiring to become a great photographer, and Max believes she has to catch every moment thru the lenses of her camera that she carries with her everywhere she goes. You start out early on living a normal life, at a prestigious college where clearly only the more "wealthy" yet successful young adults attend college. But right away, it just seems as tho something isn't right at your school, the esteemed Blackwell Academy. And all those thoughts r brought to life when Max witnesses a heinous crime on another student in the girls bathroom. But just as quick as she witnesses the crime, she awakens to the classroom she was just in 15 mins before her she enters that bathroom, and in a very deja`vu esque turn of events, everything that you just witnessed is all happening exactly as it did before. So, this means that Max may can save the now unknown but soon to be introduced victim of the vicious crime in the bathroom Max just witnessed. And so, your very first chance to rewind time and alter events in history has begun and man is it fun to play God. But as you probably well know from "The Butterfly Effect" all your choices and decisions that you make thru out your gameplay will in some way, be it good or bad, will affect something or someone else either in the past present or future. So, in order to make one wish come true, you in essence must kiss another one goodbye. This is the first example of the many life altering and very emotionally dramatic scenes where u r presented the ultimate gift, to completely stop, or rewind time to change whatever it is you wanna change. It creates so many opportunites to jus see hey, what would have happened if I had been nice and supportive to this person or you can choose to do the opposite and ignore the person. You do what YOU wanna do and that's the beauty of Life Is Strange. I am not gonna go into too much more detail due to spoilers, but man its a very crafty and unique way to play. The characters in the game are so very real and empathetic, and you cannot help but grow feelings for some of these characters as they are about as human as u can get and react exactly as u would imagine we would in these events. Be warned though, you will probably not be able to win or save em all as they say, but this game just 3 episodes in has already created 12-13 hrs or more of gameplay for me. Its a rare and surprise gem for me and I recommend this one to anyone who loves a great story with the most believable cast of characters ever seen. GO GET THE SEASON PACK!! LUV IT!!
