Lemmings on the Sega Master System is a port of the popular PC puzzle game. Your goal in the game is to command the lemmings (up to 20) in order to safely get them to the exit. There are 8 different commands you can give an individual lemming, including building a bridge, digging, or even blowing itself up! This is a classic for a reason, the gameplay is fun, easy to pick up, and can be quite addicting! The Sega Master System port offers 120 different levels (grouped into 4 different difficulties), so there is a ton of game to play here. My biggest gripe with the port is with the controls. They work fine, but I think that controlling the pointer is much easier and intuitive with a mouse rather than the control pad. I'd also say that you'll probably find the need to pause in order to plan your strategy or give commands to different groups of lemmings...and the pause button is located on the console itself (rather than being mapped to the other, relatively unused, button on the control pad). So, that's a little annoying. All in all though, this game is a classic and must play in general. I'd recommend other versions over this one, but if this is the version you have, it will do just fine and you'll likely find some fun here.
