User Rating: 8.6 | Lemmings 2: The Tribes SNES
Like all 'Lemmings' games, this is a cute and fun strategy game that can keep you occupied for a good while. As the great guide, you need to get the lemmings to their the ark where they will said to safety away from the approaching doom that is coming to their land. Good thing you are there to save them... or most of them anyway. Gameplay: 9/10 I love lemmings games. In this one, depending on what tribe you play, you can have slightly different commands at different levels. There are new commands from the previous game and you basically just tell the lemmings what to do. After all they are very dumb animals that need to do tell them exactly what they need to do. The game is challenging enough. Timing, placement, and thinking ahead are key to getting your lemmings to survive. Graphics: 8/10 Despite a few sections where the graphics are not very enticing, there are many sections that are quite nicely done. Each tribe has different backgrounds which add to the flavor of that group of lemmings. Sound: 8/10 The effects are very cute... and are quite advanced. If you are using a stereo tv or stereo speakers, you will notice that the lemmings on one side of your screen make a sound that comes out of that side's speakers. it's a nice touch if you ask me. The background music is fitting to the environments and fill in the dead space nicely. Reviewer's Tilt: 9/10 This game is a lot of fun. It's challenging but easy enough to finish without getting extremely frustrated.
