Check out the E3 2012 announcement trailer for LEGO The Lord of the Rings.
I like the lack of voices in the other games, it makes the over-the-top gestures more amusing when they are trying to get a point across.
@LXIndustries Yes that's true, but if they are going to add voices at east theyre the original ones... but I see what you mean
I'm betting the voices will be removed in favor of the no dialogue campy humpred games we've all come to expect from Lego games.
@AceCometh Their putting voices in Lego Batman 2 which will be a first for the the Lego game series so hopefully they will continue that with this. If they do though it makes sense to use the voices from the movie like they did here as that will give the most in depth experience.
I love that they added the actual voices not other voice actors that sound like them (the actual LotRs cast)
As much as I think that adding voice acting is the next logical step, I only hope that the talking characters do not distract from the little comedy bits that makes the Lego games so fun.
Ah Finally they can talk lets hope the game is a epic and full as adventure just like the movies looking forward to it Guys
Its about time! I hope they release Lord of the Rings Lego sets also , I collected a lot of the star wars ones as a kid- just something I do in my spare time :3
Hey alpha. My name is Aaron and I work at the US LEGO Headquarters in Enfield, CT. We recently released a few Lord of the Rings LEGO sets. You can find them an interactive version of the new sets at http://thelordoftherings.lego.com/en-us/default.aspx?icmp=COUSFR9LOTR. If you are interested in buying the sets you can find them at your local LEGO retail store or at our shop at home site at shop.lego.com. These are the first sets that we are releasing, but I'm pretty sure there are going to be more. Don't hesitate to message me directly if you have any questions!
As I said in a different commit; "It's about time!"
I've waited a long time for this game; fall is going to be fun!!!
