My favorite part in the whole trilogy is in Return of the King when the Steward of Gondor was on fire and jumped off the cliff while the camera panned out showing the whole scope of the battle.
If that was in Lego form I would just explode with giddiness.

Éowyn facing off with the Witch King...ripping her helmet off and saying "i am no man!" then stabs the witch king. want to see this one. the most.

I'm glad you brought that up. That was actually my 2nd most wanted scene.
"I am no man."
Definitely one of my favorite badass chick moments.

Ha ha I can totally see the Lego humor in the steward on fire scene, Maybe Faramir or Pippin with the expression of "you smell something burning?"
Scene I want the most and also want playable is Gandalfs fight with the Balrog,"From the deepest dungeon to the highest peak." Definitely my favorite part of the movies.

Now you got me thinking. Will there be extended scenes?
The dude at the gate, with the teeth?
There is only 18 stages. Is that enough?
Will the strength of men fail?

And will we also witness (and maybe take part in) the death of Saruman? So many questions, so little info. Damn it, I want the 13th to come now!

Maybe they will do the cleansing of the Shire. I would rather kill Saruman there rather then like in the movies.

Whoa, only 18 stages? Does that mean like 18 set pieces from the movie/Lego product line and then some filler areas used to traverse middle earth or literally 18 areas to explore....Travelers Tales should really market their properties better. So close to launch yet we know very little. If it's the latter I hope they're huge areas to explore...

the entirety of middle earth is there to explore. In the developer's diaries it is stated that there will be fetch quests and side missions to complete in the open world. I'm guessing that the 18 levels are levels like we would normally see in a lego game, but at certain areas on the map, kind of like a dungeon or something.

Not changing this until the Mariners win the world series.

As long as Éowyn's scene is in I will definitely get this. She and Arwen are my fave characters even though Arwen didn't have that big of a role in the novels. Also another (speaking of Arwen) when she summons the water spirit and washes away the ringwraiths would be another cool scene.
