Doubtful anywhere will be significantly much cheaper on a newly released game.

That said I haven't seen hide nor hair of it, Amazon also mentions Nov 13 as the shipping date. Perhaps all the console versions had the release date edited here but not the PC

The last few games I bought at release, we're from stores that had the games at about €20 below advice price.

GMG says Steam is used to activate the game, but the game isn't on Steam.. Can anyone confirm that this is right?

I looked up the game on Lego's Official store and it says the game releases on the 27th...

yeah this is really messed up, Amazon even shows PS3 and X360 as in stock, PC "Ships in 4 to 7 weeks" seriously?

I was looking for my steam code today, but GMG says it's been delayed, with no further details. annoying.

yeah...the lego website has the game being released on the 27th now....heard that some copies of the game were recalled due to the fact that the demo disc of the game and not the retail disc of the game were shipped by mistake (but i think that was only for Xbox 360), though it seems that again a lego PC games gets pushed back again

Very odd. I took advantage of the GMG code and got it for $22. At the completion of the transaction it presented me with a "download" button. I clicked it and it displayed a code. I went into my Steam client, selected "Activate a product on Steam" and entered the code. It added LLotR to my library and gave me the option to download and install. When I tried it though it ran for a split second then stopped, and when I try to run it it says the files are corrupted. I'm sure once it's actually released it'll work fine, but it's just some weird behavior.

i got my steam code too from GMG- entered it, and the game appeared in my library. No option to install, so i hit the play button and got "falied to start, missing executable"....
the game still doesnt appear anywhere on steam, so i dont know what's going on.
