Character Customizer Capes ?

I can't figure out how to remove my custom character's cape. Am i missing something or is it just not possible to do so ?

    Go to the place where you customize your character and go thru the options until you see capes. Select capes and then scroll thru the capes and pick the one u want. Dont forget to save it before you exit the character custimization
