It's fun to build new tracks in Lego Stunt Rally, but the racing aspect of the game is extremely frustrating and buggy.

The good: Fun to build new tracks; music is decent.

The bad: Terrible racing portion, including terrible controls, graphics clipping, randomly difficult AI, and few customization offerings.

Lego Stunt Rally can be enjoyable at times, but it is overall a mediocre product.

In Lego Stunt Rally, you play as one of four drivers and compete against other drivers in a World Cup Challenge to become the Lego Stunt Rally World Champion. You can change the wheels and decals of your vehicle, and prehaps some other features can be changed... I forget which.

Once you start racing, however, you will almost certainly hate it. To sum it up, the game tries to play itself. Control is horrible! Sometimes, you try to turn left and you do not go left, and vice versa. You frequently go off the track, but the game tries to align with the track and immediately force you to respawn at a random point on the track. So, yeah, the racing portion is not good at all.

One aspect that is fun, though, is building new maps. Creating maps is quite simple, but the Lego Indicator aspect is useless and kind of limits it a bit, but not to the point where it's impossible to build maps.

The graphics aren't good. There is plenty of bad animation, graphics clipping, and uncrisp modelling to be found in the game.

The sound is decent. Some music tracks are good, others don't make your ears bleed. The rest of the audio is not that bad.

The map builder allows for a great amount of replay value, but being as the racing aspect is broken, the replay value is killed for those who want to race.

To sum it up, if you want to build tracks, you may like this game. If you want to race, avoid this game at all costs and buy Lego Racers.
