- Difficulty:
- Easy
- Time Spent:
- 40 to 100 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Innovative"
To start with, this game may look like a children's game. When in fact it is, it provides a lot of humor to older gamers looking for something to break off from the "hardcore" games. You start off in Dexter's Diner, the hub world where you buy characters, extras, and access the missions. Outside the diner is where the minikits are displayed along with all the characters you unlock roaming around doing battle with each other.
The overall gameplay is pretty good. you have only a few buttons to perform your actions, which makes it easy not trying to memorize button schemes. The missions are broken up into episodes 1,2, and 3 with a secret 4th door. The humor presented in the cutscenes are surprisingly well thought out and progress the story. You should probably play it with a family member or a friend however because the A.I. partner can't do much in terms of providing assistance in a fight or collecting studs.
Overall the game is amazing. You'll be going back to do each mission again with the freeplay mode to access areas previously blocked. I highly recommend this game for its charm and replayability.
