AND THEN THERE WAS LEGO STAR WARS.
I must say, I was excited when I heard about such a game. I got the game, sat down to play it, and wasn't impressed.
The graphics are very simple, uh, because we're dealing with Legos here. Actually, the level designs really amazed me. Vibrant colors, interactive elements, and true to the movies. I love the game design here.
There is minimal voice acting, I'd call it voice 'sounding'. There are a few grunts here and there, but that's it. The cutscenes are hilarious at times, you can tell that the developers were creative and had a lot of fun with the Lego feel of it.
THERE'S THAT, BUT THEN THERE'S THIS:
Gameplay? Repetition, repetition, repition. Constantly hitting 'A' only to have your character move as slow as ever with a lightsaber. Sometimes the special features that characters have get confusing. The game consists of hitting buttons several times in a row which gets very old after a while.
Quite simply, I'm not too impressed by the gameplay. I did receive the sequel to this game, but have yet to play it. Honestly, I'm kind of afraid to. I feel that many 'Star Wars' games are dependent on the name itself, and nothing impressive comes out of it. If anything, play it for its creative element. RENT IT!

Lego Star Wars is much more than a game cashing in on two very large franchises.
