Lego Star Wars is an addictive game from Eidos Interactive and Traveller's Tales. This is a game for kids but it's good enough for adults to enjoy it as well.
In the game, you go through Episode 1,2 and 3. These are divided into levels. It's mostly platforming. You have to use all your different characters for different situations. Jedi can use the force to rebuild broken objects. Jar Jar can jump higher than other characters. And some characters with guns can grapple over gaps and such.
Combat is quite fun, though maybe a little too easy. Since you can't actually die. If you run out of hearts, you crumble apart into different pieces of Lego. You lose some studs and you respawn. So unless you're going for the True Jedi Status,(you have to collect a certain amount of studs) you don't have to worry about dieing.
The game also has co-op which is really easy to get into (on PS2 anyway, I don't know about the PC version). You just plug in a second controller and the second player presses start and he's in. The AI does an excellent job of helping you with the platforming though, so if you have to do something together, the computer will automatically help you out.
There's also plenty to collect in Lego Star Wars. There are hidden canisters which give you vehicles to look at if you collect all 10 per level. Most canisters are hidden or you have to unlock a special character first in order to be able to get it. There's also True Jedi Status, as mentioned before.
Overall Lego Star Wars is just a ton of fun. If you're a fan of Lego or Star Wars, this is a great game for all ages.
