The game was exactly what I liked. Smashing through thousands of enemies with no knowing when to stop. And the thought of doing it in a 3-D Lego Star Wars world sounded awesome. Well not as cool as I thought. You could play in all 3 episodes, The Phantom Menace, The Attack of the Clones, and (drum roll) The Revenge of the Sith. (woooooo hoooo). Throughout the game you will have a small party of characters from whichever episode you’re playing. Usually at least 1 Jedi (Obi-Wan Anakin ect.) 1 with a blaster (Padme Panaka ect.) and 1 droid (R2-D2, C-3PO ect.) You can easily switch between each one to adjust to whatever situation you’re in. Having only one attack button makes the combat easy enough. But the thing that really amazed me about this game, not the story mode but the freeplay. Well first of all freeplay was not as much fun without the unlockables. Throughout the game you get little Lego pieces which are like money, and you can but and character or droid you just saw in a level. You can also buy fun things like giant heads or super cool looking blasters. Plus tips (which aren’t very helpful). Then take any character on any mission and play. The freeplay was a blast and the story was fun enough to keep me playing…until it was returned to his home…BLOCKBUSTER!!!!!!!
