great sequel but usually sequels aren't as good.

Co-op is the BIGGEST new thing to the game. Almost everyone hated GH1's 2-P mode. But for the people that like it, it's still there. But co-op is where 1 person plays Lead guitar and the other depending on the song plays Rythem of Bass. And your score, rock meter and star power are tied together so when you want star power while playing some crazy solo, you and your friend have to tilt the guitar at the same time. And the three new people in the game are great. Eddie Knox, Casey Lynch and Lars Umlaut. The game also has unlockable outfits such as Lars unlocks gargoyles that he weres on his shoulders. And I really like the new "have the same stuff on every level" thing. Like say you buy Axel's 2nd outfit on medium, you also now have it on hard. Though the game is a lot harder this time, hard is like expert this time, and expert is ludacris. So in conclusion, Guitar hero 2 is a great rythem game, fantastic sequel and and reccomend it fans of GH1.
