This game is wonderful in many ways. It’s got some incredibly detailed, lush environments that take advantage of the cel-shade technology, it’s a lengthy adventure, and the story is captivating. But, to the disappointment of many Zelda veterans, it’s way too easy. The Zelda series is known for having a certain degree of difficulty, and this game does not reach it. I finished this game in two weeks without finding myself a complicated puzzle or a tough boss. I’ve played many Zelda games, and I enjoy having to work harder to reach my goal. Looking back at Link’s Awakening, I remember not know what to do at the Face Shrine. Looking back at Ocarina of Time, I remember not knowing what the hell to do at that damn Water Temple. This is what makes Zelda fun, and Nintendo nearly made a Zelda game as easy as a Mario game.
