Gameplay - The gameplay in ToS is something entirely amazing. The realtime fast-paced fighting that this game offers is just one of the numerous advantageous things about this title, the combination of your special techniques, spells, and regular melee hits (along with the control stick to alter your combos) is a good and perfectly difficult system. To tap into the difficulty of it a bit more, it's simple. The fighting system is difficult enough to the point where as you progress you can feel your skill going up, but easy enough to the point where you can easily master it. Aside from this battles, this games out-of-battle gameply is nothing more than flawless. The lush environments and sound that makes up your surrounding just makes your entire mood (in real life) better, and makes your physical day and life and lot happier (for me, anyway.) Interacting with all of the townsfolk really adds to this story, and the skits that are conversations between your characters just flow the plotline, and really grasp onto each characters personal plotline, making each character lovable. The sidequests that this game gives are also one of the most enjoyable things about this game, they really add to everyones own plotline, making the game a lot more joyous of experiences. Basically, the gameplay is this game is outstanding. 10/10.
Graphics - Magnificent. The graphical beauty of this game far surpasses most other games out there, being rivaled only by titles such as Super Mario: Sunshine. This games graphics are so wondrous that I have throughout playing this game just stopped and looked around, later in the game after I rebuilt Luin (a sidequest that requires lots of money,) I would literally just stay in that town for 10-30 minutes just gawking at all of the environment, it's such a beautiful game, and really makes you just feel happy. 10/10
Sound - I can't really say much about the sound that I didn't say in the graphics department, other than that you can just substitute the word "graphics" with the word "sound." Haha, no really, this games sound is as immersive as the graphics (and the rest of the game.) It makes you feel like you're in the world, it really adds to all of the style. Normally, in most games, I always thought it was kind of goofy that wherever you went for some reason there was always some, usually different, tune just following you around. This game makes it feel real, when I'm walking around my hometown I almost miss the background music, and then realize that I'm not in Tales of Symphonia anymore, that's how beautiful this game is. 10/10
Value - The value of this game is so good. It's worth every penny you spend on it, and it's one of (if not THE) most valuable video game in my collection. I've spent so much time on this game, and am planning on getting so much more out of this game. This game is so wonderful that if I were to somehow lose it, I would spend easily at least 150 dollars on a copy of it, if that were the cheapest. This game has value that no other game really does, it's a stand alone gem among all video games, and definitely something that I will never forget, nor think even the slightest bit negatively of. 10/10
Tilt - I don't even know where to start... How's about the different battle and enemy encounter system. For one, this games enemy encounters are pretty slick, they're much like Chrono Trigger and Earthbound (go figure) where you can physically SEE the enemy, whether you're on the map or in a dungeon, the only difference being that one the map there are two different weird blobs that represent all your monsters, where as in the dungeons you'll fight relatively what you get. The battle system as explained earlier is pretty innovative. It's realtime and meshs all of your characters and AI's spells, special attacks, and melee together. Also, something that is worthy of this section is the fact that the AI is actually good. Hahaha... But seriously, the AI isn't an idiot, they know what to do, and if maybe you want Raine to use a healing spell shes not casting you can always go the the battle menu, his tech, click on her, and cast it for her... Anyways, this games tilt is absolute. 10/10
Verdict - Well what do you know, I seem to have put 10/10 on all of the categories. And no, it's not a bias review really, no I'm not putting a solid 10/10 because I enjoyed it, I'm putting 10/10 because it is a great game, and it certainly changed my life, and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't do so to someone who would get as into it as I did. This is the only game to date, that I have beaten, and right after beating it without even shutting off the console, I began a new game and file and played it for quite a sitting. With a game that can last 50-150 hours on a run through, and certainly way more to collect everything, do all the sidequests, and everything else this game has to offer, along with playing this game over and over again, If you don't get into it, then I suppose I'll consider you missing out, but respect your choices, but I'm telling whoever reads this review, if you haven't played this game, or are thinking of playing this game, or maybe you even have played this game, I'm advising you to go pick it up and play it, this game is a fantastic experience and you will not regret it. 10/10
