It's a great beginning. It might sound childish about lego toys being in a Star Wars game. The game is fun and god for the entire family. Maybe it's not for hardcore Star Wars fans, since the game doesn't have a lot of challenge, but it's tricky at times.

There are the first 3 episodes in the Star Wars saga. Episode 1, 2 and 3. The 3rd one is the Revenge of the Sith. You'll first start at Dexter's Diner. This is the place you can go and take missions. Each episode is divided in 6 chapters. These are normally short, at first. After the 1 chapter you unlock episodes 2 and 3. There is a story mode and a free play after you've beaten the story mode. Free play mode lets you use other characters which were not in the story. At Dexter's Diner you can buy characters, use codes, buy extras and get to know hints. Money in Lego Star Wars is very easy to collect. You can collect money by destroying stuff. Lego Star Wars has no GAME OVER. You will have 4 hearts, if you lose them all the character gets destroyed and lose some money but the character returns. In LSW you won't only control one character only. You will have an amount of characters to choose from, each with different abilities. You might need them for the chapter you're in. There are tons of puzzles, some of them are tricky. Combat and shooting are straightforward. You just press the shooting or attack button and most enemies get destroyed with one hit. There are guns and 'swords' too. Some characters have magic abilities and can build things and get items.

Lego Star wars looks great and sounds great too. There is no voice acting. There are lots of cutscenes, there are always when you enter a chapter. The co-op mode is an interesting mode the play the game in multiplayer mode. You can beat the game with the co-op mode. It's fun to play it with friends. One big problem is the camera. When in the co-op mode the playable characters are far away, you won't get a perfect view. Even when one of the characters has to either jump or push and button, you won't see everything. There are some annoying parts in the game. There are tons of different enemies which most of them shoot like crazy. Others are when you use vehicles. These are annoying 'cos if you lose your 4 hearts, you will have to start from the last checkpoint. Also you can only save after you've completed a chapter, if you exit you'll lose your progress. There are some pretty good puzzles, but some of them are extremely tricky and might overwhelm some people.

This is a fun and interesting game, not only for kids. Hardcore fans might be disappointed about this game, but not Star Wars fans, and those who are looking for an easy and entertaining, Lego Star Wars is a good one to spend a few hours. The game might test your patients in puzzles, but the game is not very hard and very forgiving.
