LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy User Review
- Difficulty:
- Very Easy
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
This is a game difinately worth playing for a bit of fun.
Even though its a game mainly focused for younger players i can say that i as a childish 21 year old guy enjoyed it anyway.
The way that the different characters behave is a funny thing to see, the whole game has alot of comedy in it.
The story follows that of the original Star Wars movies and does this quite well. You play as basicly all the characters form the movies which all have their specific abilities. You will visit the different locations form the movies like the forest moon Endor and the Death Star.
In some parts of the game you will use different space ships like the X-wing fighter and the Tie fighter. The story mode si quite short and you play throug it pretty fast.
However once youve finished the game you can replay the different levels to gain more points to buy new characters and other extras. This is actually more fun than the actual story mode, because of all the new characters like Darth Vader, The Emperor and Boba Fett
The controls are a bit difficult to start with, i used the key board but i would suggest you to use som kind of controler.
Having played the game on both MAC and PC its hardly any difference in the grafics. Its nothing special about the graphics in the game but its what you susspect form this kind of game.
I use a macbook pro with 2.2Ghtz processor and 128mb graphics card and the game runs smoothly in 1920x 1200 pixels resolution
To conclude the review i suggest you give Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy a try. It will give you a few hours of fun gaming and a few laughs.
