Really good sequel to the first, however a little dissapointed with the camera.

I bought the game last night and immediately my five year old (daughter) wanted to play it. I had to make dinner so I set her up, thinking she would be a good test to see how difficult it is for a small child to play the game. It took her very little time to master the basic controls. The one thing that I do love about this series is that a child and adult can both play the game and get as much enjoyment out of it. The drop-in/drop-out capability is great for those times when they may need a little help getting past a certain challenge. The most frustrating aspect is when they want to run in one direction and you another, it becomes a "tug of war" to see which direction you go. I really was hoping that the play area would be spread out a little more. This is true in some areas, but those areas are limited. After dinner my wife and I had the kids get ready for bed, which gave us an opportunity to play the game ourselves. We're both fans of the first Lego Star Wars game. The humor and the playability we loved from the first game is there. The only other negative aspect is the camera. There are times when you just feel that it's in the wrong position and you find yourself hitting the C control trying to get it to pan around. Unfortunately, it doesn't work like I would have liked it to. From the reviews that I read it sounds like Traveller's Tales spent a little more time on the XBox 360 version, than they did with the other consoles. I wish they had spent the time to get the free camera option working. Regardless of these short comings, this game is definately a must have. I look forward to sitting behind the console with my family and kicking the Empire one more time.
