The lego series has evolved, but not much.

User Rating: 7.5 | LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures PS2
Story: Well, it follows the story of the original movie, which im not familiar with. So the story isnt really such a big deal. I hear the game is pretty accurate to the movies, but since im havnt seen the movies, im just going to take their word on it.

Gameplay: Well the lego series has made small tweaks and updates throughout their games, and this is no different. The fighting is so easy, so that makes the mostly a platformer/puzzle. The Co-Op is great. But i have one problem. Having to do platforming and puzzles with another player following your moves. It's really fun to kick the crap out of enemies or do the motorcycle stage with a friend. But the gameplay feels alot like Lego Star Wars. And like its previous games, the massive character selection is one of my favorite features.

Graphics: The graphics dont feel very out-dated, but a little recycled. I love the lego theme environments and characters. The enemy designs are pretty good to. The graphics are good, but not revolutionary.

Sound Track: It's nothing special. I love the Indiana Jones theme, and the rest of the music is calm, its decent, but, again, nothing special.

Nitpicks and other stuff: For one thing, i hated it when you select a level, it takes a little longer than i think it should. I also thought the game was easy. And i mean REALLY easy. Well the game is targeted for a younger audience, and the developers wouldnt want to make it frustrating, but come on, this game is just way to easy. And as always, i simply love the custom character selection. I also loved the concept of Indiana Jones in a Lego game.

Overall: The game isnt much of an improvement from its last games, but if your a fan of this series, i would pick it up.
