Though only an 8.5 and not 8 for shear content amount, this charming lego game is a treat fo any dieahard Potterhead

I was optomistic about this game. Though I enjoy lego games I wasn't sure how this would convert to the Harry Potter universe. The result is the best lego game yet and possibly the best harry potter game.
The game is in standard lego format except you must find the character you unlock in each level and then buy them, this adds several hours of gameplay value.
But the most stagering part of this game is just the amount of stuff that's in it. The number of spells, the size of hogwarts, and even obscure characters are included in the character selection (Susan Bones anyone?) The game focuses on puzzel solving which is good because combat has never been a strong point in the lego games. Not to say there isn't combat, but puzzels are most cerainly the best part of this game.
The only set back is that only people who have seen the movies or read the books (as I go on I realize there are even more of these people than I thought,) then you will be utterly lost when it comes to story, but the story is tweeked enough (for co-op) that true potter fans might flinch when Harry AND Hermione both face the dragon, but it doesn't take long to put these small tickes aside.
So if you've ever enjoyed a lego game or harry potter this game is for you. If you've ever enjoyed both this game is DEFINATLY for you. It's about what you'd expect but they manage to capture the feel of the books and movies perfectly. Just by changing the a few little things in lighting I can tell wether I'm wonder hogwarts harrys first year or his third.
In the end you should get this game or at least rent it. It's large selection of spells, focuses on puzzels and exploration, and fan service make it one of the most light and enjoyable videogames I have played in awhile.
