Anyways. For the love of god someone just make MOO2 HD with cinematic turn based combat. (The chorus of nerds everywhere!) :)

Why do they keep adding real time space combat as a feature? Do they think the same people that enjoy ending turns, research tree's, and micro managing suddenly want a less tactical (debatable I know) click-fest? A
LOL I thought this is gonna be space simulation like Spaceforce: Rogue Universe and Darkstar one but not even close... but wtf nobody is making space simulation games?
I am the only one who wants to play space battles? omg lol..
actually These video game companies suck bad nowdays they only copy eachother no good games came out other than Skyrim..
@szabig Skyrim a good original game? Please. Skyrim borrowed heavily from Dragon Age: Origins, and still wasn't as good of a game.
@szabig Forgot to mention there is news of Elite 4 in development too:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-07-22-elite-iv-is-happening-but-very-slowly
It is blatantly a shot across @Stardock's Bow and Accolade's line "Never forget your Sins!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veGmCmWO3TQ
The shot of challenge points directly to this by Accolade's reference to Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. Never forget your Sins!
Meh. After the first half hour we'll learn all ships look and perform the same. Building on planets is pointless and the story is linear and lame. Graphics will most likely be flawed and sub par. Seems like we've been here before, companies following the leader. Thanks, but I'll pass on this and stick to the original. This isn't even in the same tool shed.
@Palmer1967 Whats it like going through life being a Debbie Downer? Is it fun at all? The game looks fun. But being a wet blanket could be cool too
@Crimson_Erskine Well, now that this junk is out, have you bought it yet? Since you seem to go through life so positive and this game "looks fun", I figure you'll be losing sleep playing this gem. Check your facts lamo!
@Crimson_Erskine By all means, go ahead and buy this and enjoy your 32 minutes of fun. After you've lost your money, don't come crying to Debbie...
Question what is the game Nexus? Also this looks like sins of a solar empire to me as well.
@exodiatheone nexus is like world of warcraft but with ships you build fleets of ships and fight others or the computer for planets and what not but once in awhile there will be huge ship fights thatl slow down the server it sucks.
i dont think it is its a clever line if you know what it linked to and its not sins of solar goes back before that try something along the lines of nexus
"Forget your sins...be a legend"-that the DUMBEST teaser sentence I've ever read.
@TCC4U Yeah, in the same way Battlefield has been saying it's "Beyond the call..." - an obvious dig at Call of Duty.
@TCC4U That could actually be the case. But if it is, then it's a cheap one. People who played Sins will compare it anyway so it's unnecessary to even mention this. I didn't play Sins, so I didn't understand the line, and it only made them look stupid. :-P
You all dont get it this game is related to the movie. Meaning mostly likey not good game just a add on like spider man.
Are you thinking of Prometheus? If you are then this has absolutely nothing to do with it. If your not then I have no idea what film your thinking of
@blue_francis14 Sins of the solar Sins of a solar empire is in fact quite different then Nexus yet I like Homeworld 1 and 2 which is quite closer to Sins of a solar empire (also other RTS), yet it's true that the last doesn't have any story and is a pure RTS with no soul in my opinion. I know lots of people love it though but you see, disagreements are normal.
I remember Space Empires 3 and the stellar creation and destruction tech tree. Yeah, shareware times, good times,
@hostX9 Nexus: The Jupiter Incident is a different game compared to Sins of a solar empire. Get it straight man
To me it looks like Sins of a Solar Empire but I hope it's not like it because I just hated this game. I know many do love it but I can't help myself I tried to play it for two times and I always felt bored to death by playing it although I really enjoy space RTS (my favorite is still Nexus: The Jupiter incident) @shadowhunter0 trailers are usually a very "crappy" way to judge things, so I'm totally sharing your opinion.
I just love it when Developers start smack talking. This shows they really are willing to compete for my money.
LOL forget your SINS??? I see a low suite incoming from a mile away! BTW you need to come up with a better game if you want to challenge Sins of a Solar Empire, much better then this @#%^
I don't know what to think of this. There seems like alot of potential, but it all seems so janky (not to mention the blunt jab at SoaSE).
