Legends of Might and Magic

3DO is currently working on the next game in the popular Might and Magic series. Titled Legends of Might and Magic, this first-person action game will incorporate a number of role-playing elements and will be based in the Might and Magic world. It will use Monolith's LithTech 2.0 engine and will feature both single- and multiplayer modes.

Legends of Might and Magic will feature a choice of six different character classes, including the archer, the cleric, the warrior, the crusader, and more. Players can adventure through four distinct worlds with up to five other players in a cooperative game, or combat up to 15 other gamers in a deathmatch battle.

The main story of the game revolves around a quest to find a time-traveling madman bent on changing the course of history. The player must find a series of legendary artifacts in order to stop this madman's efforts and save the world. The game will also feature a random adventure generator, allowing the players to create a custom adventure tailored to their characters' levels.
