Review of Legendary - An underrated game!
GRAPHICS - The graphics are surprisingly good, if you have HDMI then you will notice a MASSIVE difference although some textures can be a bit poor but lighting (not lightening) effects are to die for. At the start of the game the scene opens with Deckard walking towards a code-lock door, when he fails to open it he enters the room by force. as soon as you enter gameplay of this room, as it is small there isn't as many characters on screen or backgrounds there for there can be more detail and effects. and they are amazing (espically on PC).
CONTROLS - I would give the controls mabye an 8 out of 10 simply because as square (ps3) / X (Xbox) is the Use/Command button, this can be a pain when you are trying to defeat enemies and also access a control pannel or activate an animus (source of demons power). Granted you can change them but what this game really needs is a customization option aside from the 4 presets they gave you to choose from.
MOVEMENT - Not alot i can say here to be honest, they are mostly good (I like a very high sensitivity option) there is a wide range of options for sensitivity which is very usefull later on in the game. Deckard couldn't jump he there was a gun to his head though. you will never need to use jump unless you are pressing L1 or LB which will give you (in effect) a boost jump.
PLOT - As the games opening cut-scenes suggest you are a theif called Deckard, you are hired by a highly respected mob boss, but not the ordinary mob boss with tommy guns and long coats. Your mission is to sneak into the history musem and steal/activate "Pandora's Box". As you try to activate it the box clamps your hand in and seals it, then you are branded by the "Signet" this will effectivly give you powers to blast and absorb animus energy. You can use this to heal yourself or turn (large) enemies away or stun (smaller) enemies. You will collect an arsenal of weapons and meet many new characters. There is alot of this game, which in my opinion is a good thing.
If you are a fan of Sci-Fi FPS games, then i DO reccomend this game wait untill you are out of the sewers and that's when the fun begins.
