Legend of Legaia is, in my humble opinion, one of the best RPGs ever made. As such, it is most clearly one of the most underappreciated. A compelling story that is not overly complex and an engaging battle system and setting that makes you, as a gamer, want to push on until the end. The final boss battles are a chore and it is difficult to level characters and most definitely not worth the time (just use a modification device such as Gameshark), yet the difficulty is perfect and progresses well with the game. Well crafted and surprising how good a game this is for how much attention it was paid. Well worth a purchase, IMO, and worthy of your time.
