1 Like looks interesting. any true gamer would look at this as a portal to a time where games were creative.
I wish there were more games released like this. I've been playing Avadon: The Black Fortress, and plan to start this after that. These games give you a certain 'feel' most games today can't. I miss it.
3 Like This is a remake of the classic game Dungeon Master. First played it on an Atari computer, then later on Commodore Amiga. Glad to see someone revived this old classic.
4 Like My first PC was Commodore VIC20 then later a Commodore Amiga 1000 then an Amiga 500, yes I have been a PC gamer since I was 18, now 47 still going strong!!!

2 Like You sound very much like me , I just had the A500 with the extra ram and Dungeon Master was one of the great classic games I remeber playing.
1 Like Yes acually I bought it from a 2nd party distributor, and it was up graded with a HDD drive and more ram, Hence they labeled in the add as a A500PRO, it was a great rig, and I played games for years on it. No I am not in the industry, but would of loved to be. Just a di-hard pc gamer for for 29 years!!
1 Like The Commodore' where great PC'S, way ahead of there time.It was a pity know one picked up there tech when they went broke.I never heard of the 500PRO, is that the 500 that came out with HDD and extra ram, i think it was called a sidecar expansion here.Are you in the gaming or PC industry ?
1 Like @Growgor Actually in my list I forgot 3 Commodore 64's, my last Commodore was an Amiga 500PRO. (Loved that rig) great gaming in it's day!

Cool! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'll probably get it. But was tile-by-tile based movement really necessary? They could have done free movement like Wizardry 8 and still get that old school feel.
I love that Indie developers are starting to bring back some of the older gaming elements that made us all fall in love with gaming!
@1:08 that killed it for me. You spend about 1/2 the time you play looking and picking what you want.
I think it's cool that this game points out that graphics developed faster than style in a lot of ways. Minecraft and Grimrock show that there's still people who favor content over graphics. I even play Ascendancy on my iPad coz' I loved that game. Why not dress up some old games for us to enjoy again.

Its the same reason I LOVE the new Tales from Monkey Island games. It keeps the old design and nostalgia, but updates the graphics, music, some gameplay elements that plagued those old games. I love this kind of thing.
Totally reminds me of Lands of Lore which was my first RPG, if this is done well with the retro style I'm super excited.
This game is more for I dont know... "true RPG dedicated players"? nothing I would be interested about.
If it's got nostalgic value for you that's one thing, but otherwise I can't see playing this when you could play a fully-3D fantasy RPG.
reminds me of M&M role playing series, fantastic, I've been waiting for a new M&M for about 15 years
Looks a little dated, but seems like good fun otherwise. Brings me way back to around 1989 when I bought an Atari ST just so I could play Dungeon Master, which back then was one of the most highly acclaimed games around!
Great game, captures the beauty of true RPGs. I love how these smaller developers focus 100% on the gameplay, and leave wasting all the money on making loads of fancy scripted movie sequences to the others.
Um the future, this looks more like the past, reminds me of Wizardry series. Looks pretty awesome though, been a long time since I played one of these types of games.
This game opened the door for the return of games like "Eye of the Beholder." The story is poor, but what matters is the challenge, walk around every corner looking for new items, secret passages, weapons, spells, etc ... Congratulations to all involved in the production of this game.
this is some real old school tip right here,this is a great game it brings back memories.
