Legaia 2: Duel Saga is not really a famous game but it is a great game despite it's flaws. Some people find it to be a bit hard but RPG fans would b right at home with this game. I will not disclose any information about the story line except to say that it was one of the game’s major flaws and could have been done a whole lot better. The graphics really is good despite contrary opinions. You would have to see this game to really believe it because I did not believe the great graphic until I saw it with my own eyes. The full 3D backgrounds were well done as well as the character models. Definitely not FFX graphics but still acceptable. The audio was well done. A good variety of in game music and sound effects await you but the in game voice acting takes a hit. It was really poorly done, but nevertheless a minor flaw. Once again it’s not FFX but still acceptable. This is the strongest point of the game. The battle system is the most unique one you’ll ever encounter. You attack using the up, down, left, right buttons each one goes to attacking a different direction up is upper low is lower, etc. You are given a number of 'art blocks' which is the number of attacks you can put in at one time. It starts off with three and grows as you level up. If you mix the buttons properly you get powerful moves. Overall the combat system looks awesome, especially when executing some of the moves however it does get repetitive after a while. Pros: Unique game play Acceptable graphics Lots of side quests Acceptable soundtrack Challenging bosses and enemies Cons: Poor voice acting Hard at some points Repetitive game play Idiotic storyline This game will get you hooked. Legaia 2 will take you about 30 to 40 hours to complete the storyline and there is about 20+ hours in side quests to complete, so the game is worth it overall, however you might not want to replay it because of the ‘outdated’ graphics.
