well I cant say that this series is the best, but there is an improvment in the graphics,that is better then before.
1) for the graphics: the graphics is surly improved in this one, compared to the old versions and compared to games of 2003.
So I would give this one a rating of very good (9/10)
2) Sounds and affects: sounds were very good, and realistic. rate of sounds would be (10/10)
3) Story: well, I cant compare the story with the old stories of this series, the best 1 for me was soul reaver 1, so the story for this 1 is Okay. (8/10)
4) Game-play: game-play was not so hard not so easy and straight ahead to everyone, there is no a lot of thinking in this version, However, there is a new thing in this version, which you can play with both characters, Raziel and Kain, which made the game-play better and more fun, so I would rate this one, as good (8.5/10)
5) compatibility and control: for this version Eidos, changed the way you see the player in game, and it was not that good, the old version was better, and a lot of times when jumping, you may slip away and fall down, because you can not control the view, so it may troubles the player. so I would rate this as acceptable (6/10)
in overall, this game is 8.3 (8.5) in rating compared to other games in the year of 2003.
For sure we cant stop playing soul reaver. So I look forward for the next soul reaver game.
And I would expect it to be a very good game.
