The Bottom Line:

"Almost, but not quite"

This game is a half and half for me. The story is one you see in any zombie game, your a survivor and you must continue to survive. This game is not exception, it is cool that you have friends to help this time around. However that alone does not fix some of the things that made me think "almost there". The visuals are okay, nothing like dead space, but still okay. The story is where I was dissapointed there really is no story mode. You can pick which level to play and what part of the level. I would have liked to see alittle more flowing story from start to finish. The opening scene, all the way through the game would have put it over the top for me. That was som stunning cut scenes. The weapons are abit cheap, 4 differnt weapons 2 differnt styles of each, bombs and molotovs (THATS IT REALLY?). The concept is fun, take 4 movies (28 days later, Cabin Fever, Dawn f the Dead, Land of the Dead) and make a game out of each one then throw it into one game. Great its just the lack of a concense story that was this games only flaw. Also I found it kind of un fair that when the zombies are running at you the comp friends your playing along side spot the zombies running through the trees, with an advantage like that its hard to score above them in most killed, least damage taken etc....Other then those 3 things, lack of story, lack of weaponry, and unfair advantage of comp allies the game is still a fun game and worth playing and buying.
