Though it's an overpriced add-on, as well as a campaign that is very similar to Death Toll, this still has the L4D rush!

Left 4 Dead: Crash Course - ADD ON (Xbox 360)

Storyline:
The story in this quick little add-on is, like always, very simple. It takes place right after the ending of the "No Mercy" campaign. If you are not familiar with that one, it's a basic Left 4 Dead campaign that ends with a helicopter pick-up. Anyways, what happens is that the pilot of the helicopter apparently was a zombie - whether he transformed into one mid-air, or was just trying to fool them (maybe he was partially sane...) so they would get in the helicopter so he could devour them like in all normal zombie fantasies - is unknown. However, if you've had experience with the game, you know that it is not really about the storyline's complexity, but more of just the basics. In other words, the storyline really doesn't matter! So anyways, while still in the helicopter, Zoey decides to put a cap in the pilot's head once she realizes he's a zombie. This, as you may have figured, forces a crash that ends you up basically on the outskirts of the city that "No Mercy" was a part of. Of course, this means that you need some other form of transportation to get out of the hell-hole situation. Somehow, they come up with truck yard kind of thing. It's basically like a truck-stop/repair station. Apparently, they know that there is easy access to a vehicle there that they can easily take and leave with. So that's where it all begins. You make your way throughout the area looking for this station. The area, like I said before, is very similar to "Death Toll" however. This is a bit of a disappointment, because in the original game, they made it so that each campaign was very different from one another. Also, for some reason, this campaign really seemed more confusing than the others. It was very unclear as to where you're supposed to be going. However, it does have its charm with lots of little mini-adventures in between (cool ways of alerting hordes, and secret ways to get places). The biggest difference in comparison to the other campaigns is the amount of chapters. The standard campaigns had 5 chapters - 4 opening, and then a finale. This one only has 2 - 1 opening and then a finale. That doesn't mean it's less than half the amount of time. What they did was extend the chapters and made them longer than usual. The opening one is about 2 average chapters long, and the finale is only a bit more than usual. So although it is shortened, it's not too serious. I also thought that having only 2 parts was pretty cool. It made the experience more intense, and that was great. Get it for yourself to see how the add-on progresses in terms of story - I can't go more into detail without leaking too much info.

Graphics:
It's exactly the same as you see in the original game campaigns. Nothing different at all. If you really still want to know what that means, look at my regular "Left 4 Dead" game review. That's exactly what I would put in here, though I don't find it necessary, especially since getting the add-on would mean that you already have the game...

Entertainment:
Well, like always, it's a blasty-blast. No, that's not a real word, but play along. It's just like the rest of the campaigns in terms of entertainment, but it gets old a LITTLE bit quicker than the rest, because of the lack of uniqueness. Don't let that be a bad fact though. It's still so much fun. Also, the add-on gives you [I believe] 10 more achievements to get, for that one campaign alone. It's pretty cool, especially since I think the whole achievement thing made the game even more addicting. It's the only game I have 1000 GS in! Now I need more though! As you are probably wondering, the add-on is worth 540 points, which is roughly about $7. In other words, if you're into the game, get it. But if by some ungodly force you aren't, then don't. It's as simple as that. Have fun!
