Make the choice to survive--it's your funeral.
__Advice that matters____ It's cool to see Valve giving the love to fans of the original Left 4 Dead by bringing the original survivors back and making the download available to both 1 and 2. The fan base split when they announced the sequel and fans of 1 were mad because Valve had said there was supposed to be a large DLC in the works. Now I guess its here. Valve Rules
I played it on L4D1 this morning in sp, no crashes, no problems whatsoever (there was an update this morning on Steam, I was busy, not sure if it was for the new game update or not but if it was might explain some of your problems, I played it after that update to Steam). Ran fine, played like a dream, just like always.
Just played it on L4D 1..HUGE disappointment. There are load crashes in the singleplayer campaign(Whenever you enter a safe room and start to load, it crashes!!) There is also a part the Tank disappears inside the container..not to mention you have to power up the crashed generator yourself because the bots never help. And where is the boat escape and cutscene to the island it mentioned? :(
@gohtingqi1997 - *SPOILER* multiple tanks spawn at the very end when you need to make your choice of who you sacrifice. Until then it's the normal single tank limit, although there are plenty of them.
I've just finished playing through on single player. This map is going to be fantastic in versus! As for Bill, he is already an uncommon infected with extra HP that carries items. Look for him in the Passing...
totaly getting this for my xbox on left 4 dead 2...apparently this shows how bill died in the passing dlc
From what i racall the sacrifice can be anyone when you actually play the campeign, but the cannon in the story is still bill. (hehe rythme)
god i hope theyll put it on a goty or something so us offline players can enjoy this kick @$$ dlc!!! damn i knew bill will be killed by multiple tanks!!! (btw why didnt he just threw the molotovs at them?)
I still say we need a L4D survivors team V's L4D2 Survivors deathmatch (with zombies for Bots) mode. THAT, would be great fun
it wars so EPIC when bill was like at 0.13 of the vid , he gives the smokes to zoey, and she went like "hey i dun smoke!!!!"
waait so if 1 person has l4d and 1 person has l4d2 and they both have the sacrifice could they both play the sacrifice together
Even if this is not free on 360 because of Microsoft, don't understand why it's not only 100 - 200 points instead of 570.
@lilflex1 The two crews from L4D & L4D2 meet in the DLC for L4D2 The Passing. This one if I understand it right continues that story.
My only question is, who's gonna waste money on buying both? Especially when the dlc for L4D2 is way better. Looks like the only people getting it for L4D are gonna be PC owners because it's free and to those extreme few people who only own 1 and not 2 (for some reason).
this dlc pack looks great it is the only series that I like from Valve, I don't care if the dlc is free or you gotta 5 to 10 for it I'll just wait for left for dead's GOTY edition so I can fet it all on one disc.
@tennis12master you've got a point in what you said, but they are free to sell to this and give away to that, all I say to them is thanks for the free DLC
@UniversalCypher: Uh.. Well, before you go saying things like that, read my previous comment first. I mentioned that I play Left 4 Dead 2 on the PC; I don't even own an Xbox.
