honestly, here's what I think. I'm a huge Left 4 Dead fan, but the second will just split up the community. What they should have done, is made an expansion, with 4 new characters, 5 new maps, new weapons, zombies, modes, etc. That way the community won't split up. Well, I probably won't buy it, because I have the first one, but it looks frickin amazing.

What is the use of extra content and attention for left 4 dead 1 when half the community will move on to left 4 dead 2 if there is nobody to use that extra content? The community will die out because so many move on to L4D2 and the others will be left behind and all the dedicated server hosters will also move on to the new game, I am going to buy the game i'm very excited to play it but it's a real big dissapointment that more then half my community clan won't buy it and will be in a starving L4D1 community....

Go watch the other video where the developer explains they're going to have more content for L4D1 before 2 comes out and stop whining.

people need to chill out with the valve flame and the "oh im not getting this, where's my dlc for l4d1" .. i felt the same when i first heard about this, but they are still going to support l4d1 .. and this game still looks fun

I was getting excited... but then I realized that they are just going to abandon xbox and only release frequent DLC for the pc version. :(

Chet is a liar... thanks for the half finished original that I purchased on the promise that there was going to be more content other than the very limited first game. This should have been DLC. or even an expansion pack. Thanks but no thanks... fooled me once Chet, but anything you are developing I will pass on. That goes with any future Valve products

they started making this 2 months after the 1st came out? november till january and then a sequels in the works? thats fast, can you say quick dollar, i hope this is good, im not too thrilled about all the melee weapons. but L4D is badass and ill get this

Im not gonna make the same mistake of getting it for a console again. Especially after Newell's latest interview where he basically said Microsoft wont let them assume customers are able to keep up with new content downloads. Ill get it for PC off steam. It'll suck to lose out on playing with my friends, since none of them are PC gamers, but ill get alot more replay with official updates and user's custom maps and models.

Glad it's not an exclusive, now my PC's gonna get ALOT more attention at christmas!

@phil, technically tracer rounds are incendiary. But there has also been a wide range of incendiary ammunition used over the years.

This game is going to rock. I'm absolutely addicted to Left 4 Dead and can't wait for this sequel. I'm excited by the inclusion of five more acts, new zombies, and new weapons. Not too sure if I dig the new character models, though.

Who was the moron on the forums that suggested incendiary ammo??? They don't even exist? Part of the fun of Left 4 Dead was the fact it was all realistic and didn't have a lot of wierd stuff other zombie games had. That will probably be my least favorite addition to the game. Other than that I can't wait!!! P.S. For all those who wanted incendiary ammo, LEARN TO AIM!

No, no, no, no, no, no, and a thousand more no's. Waaay to early. I mean, adding on some guns as DLC would be cool, but not a whole new game already. Why is Valve working on a new L4D instead of EP3?! This is just completely unnecessary IMHO.

We'll see about this game. Improvements are good, but one aspect that made l4d good was the fact that is was simple. I would rather take better features then a lame story line. Don't get me wrong, i love stories in games, but most games make the story so cheesy that you wish they would have just left it out.
