By watching this video, I should advise them to rate it as R18 and ban it as well. I am getting this irrestible urge to grab that blonde guy and punch him in the face. Repeatedly.

@the_link_keeper the xbox 360 utilizes a similar method. it just goes to show that the parent's should take an interest in what their children are doing, instead of trying to get things banned. in fact, i was buying a game yesterday and saw a boy no older than 10 buying modern warfare 2 and assassins creed brotherhood. both are MA15+ games.

If this affects whether true R18+ games are allowed into Australia (or downloadable without censoring) then I'm all for it. If however it simply takes many MA15+ and re-stamps them R18+ and nothing more, I'm not that enthused.

About time thos wombats got an R18+ rating. Its realy stupid that thay dont and i agree with him that thay should and need an R18+ rating. If i was a game developer i whould rather NOT make a game there because it whould cost to mutch time and money to make it fit just for them.

Very important on game classifications, just wish all countries would adopt a universal standard. obviously some countries idea/perception is different on various topics but there should be some baselines and guidelines.

He's an idea, make it a requirement for all game systems and PC's to come with a child lock or password system for R rated content. I think the PS3 does. (though I admit I have no idea about other systems, I suspect they also do). I feel for you guys in Australia, you deserve to be able to play R18 games. But I guess the bottom line is that if they allow R rated content in one medium it should be allowed in all mediums.

@Antherian_being I know it must horrible for the few or maybe many who want them. It's just silly how they don't let it happen.

@Balmane That's right, we don't. And it's a pain - you have no IDEA the amount of hassle Aussies have gone over thru the years for an R rating for games.

They don't have R18? That's weird I have been with that rating all my life :P
