Free to play doesn't always mean free to win. Although League of Legends is more about skill than bankroll the imbalance comes through in any match. League of Legends makes its money from people buying extra characters plain and simple. So its understandable that they make their new and latest characters hugely unproportionally powerful when they are released. They want people to buy them. It becomes frustrating when a new character single handedly kills your whole team (looking at you Firoa and hecarim).
That is not the only issue another is the community. It is highly competitive. which leads to many trolls. Every game there will be at least one player just ripping his team because they did something wrong. The LoL community is very unforgiving and not at all helpful. Instead of helping you buy the right items they will just flame you in the game chat for the entire time till by the end your either enraged or feeling worthless. There is a reporting system but the penalties need to be heightened because trolling is just too prevalent.
Even with these huge problems the game is incredibly addictive because getting a kill or multiple kill is sooo satisfying. Pulling out great moves and epic fights are really rewarding and winning as the underdog feels wonderful. It is possible because of the two problems i have written about that getting kills and wins are so rewarding. Feels good to dominate an over powered character and to shut up a troll by showing him he doesn't know what he is talking about.
If Player vs. Player is your thing this has to be the game for you. Fast paced skill oriented (mostly) team driven gameplay create a truly exciting game.
