Balance issues abound! While fun with friends, buckle up if you intend to use the match making services.

Let me start by saying this: I've played for a year, and I absolutely love the diversity in skill palettes of the champions, the rich art styles of many (not all) of the skins, and even the play styles seem to differ greatly, I can not stress this next part enough: If it's not game-play balance issues that plague this game, it's something else.

Having started a year and some change ago, I failed to notice a lot of the issues with the game that I will, these days, near-immediately pick up on. Rather than go on and on about how much my hatred for myself continues to make me play a game I've sunk nearly 200 dollars into, allow me to cut the fat, create a list, then elaborate.

PRO:
Large list of champions.
Clearly defined parameters for said characters.
Detail of existing maps.
Community forgiving at lower levels.

CON:
Lack of variety in types of skills.
Lack of variety in archetypes of champions.
Lack of variety in maps.
Teams based on exploits or methods that are otherwise hard to counter unless predetermined.
Expense of champions vs rapidity of release of new champions.
Community unforgiving at higher levels.

This all being said, the game is immensely fun with friends with the variety of champions and their builds, but pray to god you don't get a team based entirely around stun lock.

Overall, it's probably the best of the MOBAs, but that's not saying a whole ton.

Don't forget, summoners, GL HF.
