Taric vs Nami
After the changes in Nami in the last patch lets compare so numbers.
Taric: Dazzle- Range: 625 Cooldown: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 Cost: 95 mana
Stun time 1.5 and is non a skills shot
Nami: Aqua Prison- Range: 875 Cooldown: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 Cost: 60 mana
Stun time to an area 1.25 seconds and is a skills shot
Comparison- Aqua Prison can be a much better spell with its range and its area of effect. However Dazzle stuns for a longer period of time and is not a skills shot.
Taric: Imbue- Range: 750 Cooldown: 20 / 19 / 18 / 17 / 16 Cost: 80 / 95 / 110 / 125 / 140 mana
Heal: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+ 60% AP) Self Heal: 84 / 140 / 196 / 252 / 308 (+ 84% AP)
His autoattacks on champions decrease this spell's cooldown by 3 seconds each or by 1 second if hitting non-champions.
Nami: Ebb and Flow- Range: 725 Cooldown: 9 Cost: 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130 mana
Heal: 65 / 95 / 125 / 155 / 185 (+30% AP) Magic Damage: 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+50% AP)
This ability can only bounce to each target once and hits up to 3 targets. The damage or healing value is reduced by 15% with each bounce. On ally hits, Ebb and Flow heals the target and bounces towards a nearby enemy champion. On enemy hits, the torrent deals magic damage and bounces towards a nearby allied champion.
Comparison-Taric ability to heal based on doing basic attacks to minions really helps the early game. His self heal is much stronger than Nami hear and his heal levels up better than her heal. However, if you want if you want to deal damage to the other team then Ebb and Flow can be rather strong.
Taric: Shatter- Cooldown: 10 Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 mana Bonus Armor: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30
Aura Diameter: 1000 Magic Damage: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+ 60% AP) Armor Reduction: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 Diameter: 400
Taric hardens crystals around him, providing a permanent armor bonus to himself and nearby allies. Taric's armor is increased by an amount equal to the aura's bonus. Both of these bonuses stack with each other.
Taric shatters the crystals surrounding him, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and decreasing their armor for 4 seconds. His own passive armor bonus is not in effect during the cooldown.
Name: Tidecaller's Blessing- Range: 800 Cooldown: 11 Cost: 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 mana On-hit Magic Damage: 25 / 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 (+20% AP) Slow: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35%
Active: Empowers an allied champion for 5 seconds or until they have attacked 3 times. During this time, their basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and slow the target hit for 1 second.
Comparison: Its hard to beat the armor bonus that Taric gets from Shatter. It works well for turret diving with his stun. It also helps when attacking the other team. Nami slow can be very effective with her passive as well. It allows for your AD carry to slow with her blessing and then get higher movement speed from name passive. This really helps to chase down Ads.
Taric: Radiance- Cooldown: 60 Cost: 100 mana Magic Damage: 150 / 250 / 350 (+ 70% AP)
Attack Damage and Ability Power Self Bonus: 30 / 50 / 70 Magic Damage including Bonus: 171 / 285 / 399 (+ 70% AP) Diameter: 400 Aura Diameter: 1000
Active: Taric slams the ground, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies. Taric gains attack damage and ability power and receives an aura that grants nearby allies half of the bonuses.
Nami: Tidal Wave- Range: 2550Cooldown: 140 / 120 / 100 Cost: 100 / 150 / 200 mana Magic Damage: 150 / 250 / 350 (+70% AP) Slow: 50 / 60 / 70%
Active: Summons a tidal wave outward from Nami's position. The tidal wave briefly knocks up enemies that it comes into contact with, slows them and deals magic damage. The slow duration increases based on how far the tidal wave has traveled, with a minimum duration of 2 seconds and a maximum duration of 4 seconds.
Comparison: Nami Ult has become really strong after the buff in range. Her ult can be a game changer. Taric ult can help your team as well with his Aura.
NOTES: With Nami buff she has become much stronger and could see more gameplay use now that her e has the same cooldown as Taric. Taric armor is going to give him the edge in early gameplay, Nami only going to get stronger the longer the game goes on. However to really be strong with Nami is going to take work to get her skills shots down, where Taric you dont have to worry about that.
